Privacy Policy — Forgotten and Found

Last updated: October 9, 2026

In short:

  • There is no account or sign-in, and we run no server. Your progress is saved only on your device.
  • The game shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. You choose whether to watch one.
  • Players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads, and can change that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy.
  • Optional in-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell personal information.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game Forgotten & Found (package name: com.forgottenandfound), developed by Wobbly Studio ("we", "us"). It explains what information the app collects, uses, and stores, and what it does not.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or sign in, and we do not collect your name, email address, contact details, location, photos, contacts, or files. The app has no backend server of our own.

The advertising and purchase services described below may process limited technical data on your device, such as your advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions. That processing is done by those providers under their own privacy policies (see section 7), not by us.

3. Information stored on your device

Your game progress (level, inventory, restorations, story progress, purchases you have made, and settings) is saved in a local file on your own device (user://save.json). We do not receive this file. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.

4. Permissions the app uses

PermissionWhat it's used for
VibrationHaptic feedback during gameplay (e.g. a merge or a reward). It can be turned off in the game's Settings.
Internet and network stateLoading rewarded ads and completing Google Play purchases.
Advertising IDUsed by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
BillingUsed by Google Play to process in-app purchases.

The app requests no other permissions: no camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage access beyond its own save file.

5. Ads and your consent choices

Forgotten & Found shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Ads are only shown when you choose to watch one, for example to get extra energy or to shorten a waiting time. AdMob may use your advertising ID and similar technical data to serve, limit, and measure ads, and, where you have consented, to personalize them.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent message (the User Messaging Platform) the first time you play, so you can accept or decline personalized ads. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized. You can also limit ad personalization in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

6. In-app purchases and reviews

Optional purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details and we never see your card information. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was completed, so we can deliver what you bought.

The game may occasionally ask you to rate it using the Google Play in-app review prompt. Whatever you choose to submit is handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy, and we do not receive any personal information from it.

7. Third-party services

The app integrates these third-party services. Each one has its own privacy policy:

The game does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or social tracking SDKs. Because the app is distributed through Google Play, Google may also collect standard technical data under its own privacy policy, independent of anything in the app itself.

8. Children's privacy

Forgotten & Found is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of Google Play's Designed for Families program. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are not configured for child-directed treatment, so please do not use the app for children under 13 without a parent or guardian's supervision.

9. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

We do not hold any personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. Any data processed for ads or purchases is held by Google, and you can access, manage, or delete it through your Google Account and your Android settings. Where required by law, ad personalization in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Settings → Ad privacy. We do not sell personal information. If you have a question about your rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Security

We do not operate a server that stores your data. Your save file is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, OS updates) like any other app data. Payments and ads are handled by Google, which secures them under its own policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when new features are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
