Zoozle is a jigsaw puzzle game for players of all ages, including children. This policy explains what information the app touches, why, and how it's kept to a minimum — in plain language, not legal boilerplate.
No account needed. We don’t collect your name, email, or any personal details. Your puzzle progress, stars, streaks, and unlocked characters live on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, that progress is also backed up to your Google Play Games account so you can restore it on a new phone. Zoozle also uses Google’s Firebase to gather anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. Everything that leaves your device goes to Google services described below — we run no servers of our own.
Zoozle shows ads through Google AdMob. Because the app doesn't verify a player's age, every ad request is sent tagged as child-directed: AdMob is instructed not to use behavioral or interest-based advertising, not to serve remarketing ads, and to cap content at a general (G) rating for every player, regardless of age. This follows Google Play's Families Policy.
AdMob may still collect technical identifiers (such as an advertising ID or IP-based general location) to serve and measure ads, and to detect fraud. Google's own privacy practices for this are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Zoozle's in-app purchases (Remove Ads, Zoozle Bundle, Power Up Pack) are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google, not by us or our app — we only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, so we can unlock the matching content.
Signing in is optional and only happens when you tap “Sign in with Google Play Games” in Options (or accept the one-time reminder). When you sign in, Zoozle saves your game progress — level stars, unlocked characters, power-up counts, Daily Puzzle history, achievements, in-progress puzzles, and settings — to Google Play Games’ cloud save, stored by Google under your Google account. We never see your Google account details and cannot access this data ourselves. Zoozle uses Google Play Games only for this cloud save, not for leaderboards or social features. Google’s handling of your Play Games profile is described in the Google Privacy Policy; you can manage or delete your Play Games data from the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings.
Zoozle uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the game is used and to fix crashes. This includes anonymous data such as app usage events (for example, which screens are opened and puzzles completed), a randomly generated app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, and crash logs. It does not include your name, email, or contact details, and it is not used to show you personalized ads. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Zoozle keeps your play session — level progress, stars, streaks, unlocked characters, power-up inventory, and settings — in local storage on your device. Android’s own app backup is turned off for Zoozle, so Google Play Games cloud save (above) is the only way progress is restored on another device. If you uninstall without signing in, local progress is deleted.
Zoozle is designed to be appropriate for players under 13, and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising shown to all players is treated as child-directed, as described above.
Zoozle requests Internet and network state access solely to load ads, process purchases, sync cloud saves and analytics, and (optionally) submit an in-game rating through Google Play's native review prompt. Zoozle does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date above. Continued use of Zoozle after a change means you accept the revised policy.
